Rowan Medland

Research Assistant

Rowan is a third-year undergraduate student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, working toward their Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in counselling. They aspire to continue their education through graduate school, specifically in counselling with the hopes of working in trauma-informed individual or couples’ therapy. Rowan is interested in furthering their experience in research, with a particular focus on gender-based violence and LGBTQ+ mental health.

When Rowan is not busy with school, they enjoy playing games, finding new shows to binge watch or audiobooks to listen to, and spending time with their partner and friends.
