Pearl Meredith
Research Assistant

Pearl is a fourth year undergraduate student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) with a minor in Philosophy. After graduation, she plans to continue her education by studying clinical psychology at the graduate level. Pearl’s research interests in sexology lean towards culturally heterodox phenomena, spanning both practices (e.g., novel relationship structures, sexual subcultures) and interests (e.g., fantasy, paraphilias). Complementing this is her interest in factors that facilitate the attainment of well-being in the face of stigmatizing cultural attitudes.

Outside of academia Pearl enjoys shooting pool, hosting dinner parties, reading novels and non-fiction, marveling at the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and is working her way through an ever growing list of weird films.
