Lena Orlova

Senior Research Assistant

 

​Lena Orlova holds a BSc in Applied Psychology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) and a diploma in Transpersonal Therapeutic Counselling from Clearmind International. She is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada, as well as a researcher within the O-Lab at KPU. Her interests include gender and sexuality, relationships, and trauma. She has presented her work at scientific conferences on topics ranging from weight stigma to sexual harassment in sports.

 

Lena loves all things comfort, including soaking up the sun, the sound of ocean waves, eating good food, laughing, reading five books at once, and spending time with her partner.
