Misha Turychenko
Research Assistant
 

​Misha is a third-year undergraduate student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) working towards earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology, with a minor in Counselling. He is currently completing the Psychology Honours program at KPU and hopes to complete further study at the graduate level, tackling topics related to relationship health, attitudes and persuasion, sexology, and mental well-being in the LGBTQ+ community. He has been with the lab since Fall 2022, and has participated in research studies regarding obstacles faced by women in the workplace, as well as how dark triad traits relate to other factors.

 

When not occupied by school or a part-time job at a local liquor store, Misha can usually be found writing short stories and poems, exploring the Lower Mainland with a Polaroid camera in hand, reading dystopian novels, or watching the latest episode of Doctor Who.
