David Hattie

Senior Research Assistant

 

​David completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) with a minor in Counselling Psychology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2021. His honours thesis investigated how conformity to masculine norms effects body satisfaction and self-perception of sexual attractiveness in men and won the 2021 Canadian Psychological Association Certificate of Academic Excellence.

 

David's research interests include masculinity, gender norms/stereotypes, sexual behaviour, reforming sexuality education, and male extremism. David is completing his MA in Counseling Psychology at Simon Fraser University and in his spare time, enjoys building physical and virtual structures/models, hanging out with friends, playing video-games, and hiking.
