Senior Research Assistant
Kaylee Skoda graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2016 with an honours degree in Psychology and a minor in Counseling. Specifically, her honours thesis examined the effect that pornography consumption has on genital self-esteem in male and female consumers. Upon joining the ORGASM Lab in 2014, however, she has been fortunate to be involved with sexuality research across a broad range of topics – of particular personal interest, she proudly collaborated on research examining whether tattoos are predictive of increased female promiscuity, as well as a current project examining the rise in popularity of female genital cosmetic surgery.
Torn between her love of sexology and her love of space, Kaylee is currently pursuing a second Bachelor’s degree in Physics & Astronomy. In her spare time, she enjoys stargazing with her telescope “Calypso” and hiking with her 2-year-old pit bull, Princess Leia. In the future, Kaylee hopes to obtain her doctorate in astrophysics.
