
Flora Oswald
Senior Research Assistant
Flora graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2018 with an honours degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. In 2020, she earned her M.S. in Psychology & Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Penn State. Flora has received awards for her outstanding academics as well as for her support and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. Flora is a feminist psychologist, and her research interests relate primarily to stereotyping, stigma, and person perception.
In her free time, Flora can be found curating her collection of plants and buying way too many books. She is currently a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Fellow in the dual title Psychology & Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program at Penn State University, and a visiting researcher at the University of Denver.
