Cydney Cocking
Research Assistant
Cydney completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) with a minor in Counselling Psychology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2021. Her honours thesis investigated men’s differential self-identification with female-perpetrated intimate partner victimization and won the 2021 Canadian Psychological Association Certificate of Academic Excellence.
Cydney’s research interests related to human sexuality and gender include examining masculinity and gender roles, intimate partner violence, sexual consent, and male victimization, among others. In her free time, Cydney enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies, playing story-based video games, and curling up to read a good book.
